Bravo! What are you thinking?
perhaps Mr Hoffman should hire Steve to protect him!Maggie - thanks so much for posting that. I saw it this afternoon (that box - check here for email notifications? it works now! so thanks for the heads-up!) and wandered off to try to find the original. Was on the tablet so ended up just reading E!Online or something.
I may be wrong, but it seems as if The Book, even if it did not live very long and did not save the kids (yet) did have some effect. It seems as if the press all went out (or stayed in) and bought copies. Between the people against cruelty to animals and the people who want to help people Save money (not fritter it away or sit on it while begging hapless strangers for more) it does seem someone got the memo. She's not thrifty.
I'm behind in watching Jeopardy, so recently I saw this guy who'd won a game or two telling Alex all about how he coupons. Alex asked if he was going to stop couponing now that he'd won a lot of money. He said "No. I want it to last." (today I bought boneless, skinless chicken for $1.99 per lb, 6 bottles of Ocean Spray Blueberry Juice at buy one, get one free, and topped it off with a $5 off $35 coupon. (I can get chicken slightly cheaper elsewhere, but I'd have to do a bit of math to see whether that's still true if you take the coupon into consideration. I hope not)
